L Plates must be displayed at the front and back of the vehicle by learners drivers.
You must always carry your learner’s license digitally or physically when driving.
Always store your learner logbook / mobile phone in your glove box or another safe place (you will need to fill it out after every drive).
All drivers are banned from using a mobile phone in their hands or having it rest on any part of their body, such as their lap, while driving. This applies even if you’re stopped in traffic.

You must drive with a supervisor who has held a full licence in the vehicle class you are driving for at least 1 year at all times.
It is a good idea to combine professional driving lessons with regular practice sessions with your parents or friends.
If you’re a learner driver under 25 years old, you need to record at least 100 hours of supervised driving. At least 10 of these driving hours must be night hours between sunset and sunrise. You must record the details of each trip you take in a learner logbook.
